The African CAH-DSD Research Network, in collaboration with the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology, University Ghent, African Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology and Paediatric Endocrine Society Kenya, warmly invite you to the First African CAH-DSD Symposium on 23rd & 24th April, 2026 to be held at the Mercure Hotel Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya.
The symposium will feature expert-led lectures, case-based discussions and opportunities for professional exchange and collaboration. The symposium will have plenary sessions and poster presentations, and will provide an opportunity to share your work and network with health care professionals from Africa and beyond.
We invite submissions of abstracts of original research in Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia and Differences of Sex Development
Abstract Requirements:
The presenting author must register for the First African CAH-DSD Symposium.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically by 15th March, 2026 via the designated Google form (use link below).
Abstracts and presentations should be in English.
Abstract should not exceed 300 words.
Abstract font: Times New Roman, font size 12.
Title: Use block capitals and in bold typeface
Author(s): List the author(s) by surname, followed by initials in capital letters. Underline the name of the presenting author. Do not include degrees or professional titles.
Affiliation: Include institution and town/city.
Body: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
Abbreviations: Give the terms in full when first mentioned, followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis.
Abstract Submission
Please only submit your abstract if you have already registered.
The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted as a poster or oral presentation. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. Receipt of your abstract will be acknowledged and notification of acceptance will be communicated upon review.
